Product description
The strap is made entirely by hand using elaborate techniques to fit the "BR watches".
Size/Dimensions/Weight
- Thickness: 4.5mm throughout
- Number of holes: 7 holes suitable for the original B&R clasp.
- The color of the insert/seam and the length can be determined by the configurator.
Method of manufacture
- The strap is entirely handmade.
- Each individual stitch hole is pre-punched by hand using an antique awl and then double-stitched by hand with waxed thread.
- Two keepers - one is sewn in.
Materials used
- Soft and high-quality calfskin leather from a German tannery.
- Tear-resistant and stable waxed yarn made in Germany!
- Beeswax leather balm (resin and acid free)
Tradition and passion
- The strap is made using historical sewing techniques from the 1950s. Only antique tools are used, from the old awl to the antique leather knife and the old leather plane.
- The vintage look and signs of wear are achieved through hours of manual sanding and polishing. The leather is not subsequently painted with dye, and no chemicals are used.
- Finally, the strap is treated with seawater and leather grease.
