The Cartella Militare Messenger Bag combines the lines of a classic briefcase with the flexibility of a modern shoulder bag. Crafted in our Jockgrim manufactory, it is a durable companion made from purely vegetable-tanned natural leather – sophisticated, functional, and timelessly elegant.
DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
For this bag, we use a rare, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather with a natural texture. Unsplit, strong, durable – a leather that develops a fine patina over time, making each bag unique.
The distinctive stainless steel knife-edge buckles are securely sewn in and double-stitched to ensure maximum stability and durability. From the precise cutting to the final stitch, every detail is crafted entirely by hand – true craftsmanship from Jockgrim.

EXTENDED CRAFTSMANSHIP DETAILS
The leather used is a rare, vegetable-tanned natural leather from France – unsplit, approximately 2 mm thick, and with a vibrant texture. A sophisticated material that demands the utmost precision and only becomes more beautiful with age.
Inside, a German-made wax core provides additional stability, shape retention, and exceptional durability. The stainless steel knife-edge buckles are double-stitched and an integral part of the construction. Every detail – from the first cut to the last stitch – is entirely handcrafted.
