The Cartella Militare backpack combines traditional craftsmanship with modern, cosmopolitan aesthetics. In our Jockgrim manufactory, a durable companion for everyday life, work, and travel is created from natural premium leather – robust, elegant, and built to last for decades.
DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Crafted from rare, vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, whose natural surface texture gives it a vibrant and unique appearance. The distinctive stainless steel knife-edge buckles are securely sewn into the leather and double-stitched – a clear sign of lasting quality. Every seam, every step of the process is done entirely by hand.
This backpack offers not only style and elegance, but also functional freedom at every moment of the day. Ideal for city life, work, travel, and adventures.

EXTENDED CRAFTSMANSHIP DETAILS
The leather used is a rare, vegetable-tanned natural leather from France – unsplit, 2 mm thick, with a vibrant texture and unforgiving of any flaws. This material demands the utmost precision and years of experience.
Inside is a sturdy, German-made wax core that ensures the backpack retains its shape while remaining supple and developing a unique patina over the years. The knife-edge stainless steel buckles are double-stitched and form a solid structural element – not just decoration, but genuine function and durability.
