Handcrafted watch strap for aviator and pilot watches – functional, robust and historically accurate.
PILOT leather strap – for aviator and pilot watches
The PILOT straps were specially developed for classic aviator and pilot watches . Pilot watches are robust, highly legible timepieces originally designed for use in extreme flying conditions – with large dials, luminous hands, oversized crowns for operation with gloves, and additional functions such as chronographs or GMT displays for navigation.
Our strap design addresses precisely these requirements: clear, functional, uncompromising . The cut, proportions, and material thickness are deliberately tailored to pilot's watches and underscore their utilitarian character. The execution is in an authentic vintage style , inspired by historical pilot's watches from the 1930s to the 1950s.
The strap is supplied without spring bars or tubes so that the watch's original spring bars can be used. The lug area is designed to provide ample space for standard spring bars.
A stainless steel clasp is fitted as standard on the clasp side. It is attached with spring bars and can be replaced at any time with a different clasp or the original clasp of the watch.

Method of manufacture
- Holes punched to fit the included clasp
- Perfect fit for a secure hold
- Each stitch hole was individually pierced by hand using an antique awl (1950s).
- Double hand-stitched with waxed thread
- Two keepers: one sewn in, one loose
