We know how important a comfortable and precise fit is, which is why we have developed every detail of our strap construction to harmonize perfectly with our watch case.
Perfect fit between watch and strap
The material thickness on the lug side has been precisely engineered to 2.5 mm between the inner and outer edges of the holes, measured without the stainless steel tubes. Many conventional rubber straps offer only 2 mm of thickness here, leaving a visible gap after installation. Our rubber strap completely closes this gap and sits flush against the watch case. Additionally, each strap comes with integrated stainless steel tubes that ensure maximum stability and a secure fit.
Our FKM rubber strap features three pronounced accordion waves on each side, unlike OEM straps which typically only have two. The first accordion wave is rounded, while the second and third are flatter and aerodynamically aligned with the first. This creates a smooth transition with improved power transmission, greater elasticity, and noticeably enhanced comfort.
For maximum safety, it's not enough to reinforce only the lug area. All OEM rubber straps have a material thickness of just 1.0 to 1.2 mm on the clasp side, and as with a chain, the weakest link always determines the overall stability. That's why we designed the short side to be exactly 2.0 mm thick, ensuring the strap offers the same robustness across its entire length.
Additionally, we have integrated two stainless steel tubes on the closure side for the first time. This prevents the screw threads from loosening due to friction or tensile forces, further increasing the safety and lifespan of the strap.
This results in a rubber strap that not only sits flush and securely at the bridge with a material thickness of 2.5 mm, but also offers the same resistance at the clasp, for consistently high durability.
The material thickness on both sides is precisely 4 mm in the middle and at the end of the strap. This is in contrast to many OEM rubber straps, which only offer about 3 mm in this area. We also consistently maintain a thickness of 4 mm on the short side, both in the middle and at the end, while most OEM straps are only around 2.99 mm thick at this point.
This continuous construction provides significantly more stability, prevents weak points along the belt path and guarantees consistently high load-bearing capacity in every application.
